I had a dream last night that stuck with me all day… It was simple really. I was given the gift of a pair of really beautiful slippers. They were furry and cozy and you could wear them inside but the sole was sturdy enough to wear outside as well. The creator of the slippers filled them with the promise of the wearer’s deepest wish coming true.
When I looked inside mine there was one word embroidered in red thread: Home.
As our first session of Mondo Beyondo comes to a close this week (it was outrageously wonderful) I am left with the most distilled sense of my own dreams. Although my list was long and full of wonderful things, the dreams that keep floating to the surface are all about finding a new house where we feel inspired and happy, feeling in balance between work and enjoying Ben, and just generally feeling connected to my family. Home.
Hi there lovely Andrea,
This course is a beautiful beginning. I have printed out all the lessons. I feel like I will be participating in it retroactively. Between an eight family vacation and attending Squam, working, children, I have read much but I haven’t participated it. One of the delights is that I have made contact with some of the New England communities mondobeyondo babes and I look forward to meeting them and shedding who I am supposed to be to who I am.
Sending you love and besos,
Trish

I’ve been reading along since discovering your blog in the last issue of Artful Blogger. I’m so excited and grateful that you extended your registration, and signed up as soon as I saw the blog post. As the (single) mama to twin 1 year olds, I feel like this class is the manifestation of my need for a structured space to dream. Thanks!!
My dream came true when you offered more spaces for your workshop! I signed up and can’t wait!
Love your dream of slippers and home.
and all you share on this blog.
Looking forward to dreaming with you soon!
I love that dream. I wonder what would be written in my slippers. May you find home, lovely one.
“A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams.”
I am sure you will find the home of your dreams, because you build your life with love and dreams!

You guys are looking for a new home? Pretty exciting! Though I must admit that the idea of actually moving can be a little daunting at times. Great time to streamline though….

truly magic…thank you, andrea.
I can’t believe I just signed up for the class. I couldn’t stop my fingers from entering the info.
Home, that is my big want that I am putting out there right now too…
I will be doing the next course and I am very excited and nervous, can’t wait to see what happens!
my husband is treating me to the 2nd Mondo Beyondo course for my birthday. I am so so very excited and cannot wait until Monday!!!

and I just found out that my best friend Angie, whom I have know since we were both 14 – over half of our lives) is also partaking in this session of Mondo Beyondo. Neither of had mentioned it to each other before tonight.
The connectedness of it is rather overwhelming – she is the one who introduced me to Superhero Designs probably 5 years ago when she got me a Superhero necklace for my birthday. A necklace that I have worn pretty much everyday since then, I rarely take it off.

I read it, but think that doesn’t work that way…
